Last year broke records for prices on apartment rentals. By the end of 2022, the average rental price for a studio apartment in Podgorica was 350 euros, and prices for renting a one-bedroom apartment reached a record 900 euros. And this is happening in a country where the average salary is just over 700 euros.
Thus, apartments near Capital Plaza and in the area of the BIG Fashion shopping center have a higher price than the market average. It is difficult to find a one-bedroom apartment for less than €500, and more luxuriously equipped ones are rented for prices from 600 to 700 euros. A two-bedroom apartment costs from 450 to 1000 euros depending on the location and level of amenities. On average, they cost about 700 euros.
Some experts believe, that the real “cooling” of high real estate rental prices will happen only in 2024.
