The authorities of Montenegro have decided to declare a coronavirus epidemic across the entire territory of the country once again. Starting today, several new temporary measures are being introduced. Their aim is to further prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. New measures for Montenegro Wearing protective masks outdoors and indoors is mandatory throughout Montenegro, including for children over 7 years old, except on beaches and in national parks. It is also important to maintain social distancing. Gatherings of up to 40 people are allowed outdoors, and up to 20 people indoors. In both cases, a social distance of at least two meters must be maintained. However, this requirement does not apply to residential buildings. Also, the ban on the operation of nightclubs and discotheques remains in force until August 6. Private celebrations are not allowed: weddings, graduation parties, birthday celebrations. Until July 30, the ban on music and entertainment programs in restaurants, cafes and beach bars remains in force. Catering establishments on the coast are allowed to operate until midnight. Temporary residence and work permits for foreigners whose validity has expired have been extended. They are now considered valid until October 7, 2020. Coronavirus infection statistics Over the past 24 hours, 98 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed. 39 people have recovered. At the same time, no deaths were recorded. There are currently 1,920 active coronavirus cases, that is, 305 cases per 100,000 people.
