Montenegro took 3rd place in the ranking of the best countries to move to from Russia, writes Lenta.ru with reference to Zen Invest. The main motive when closing deals was obtaining a residence permit or investment citizenship (citizenship in exchange for a contribution to the country's economy). According to the company, this year there was increased demand among Russians for Caribbean countries, the reason being special passport programs. The best country to move to from Russia was Cyprus — in 2019, Russians most often bought real estate there.
