The National Coordinating Body (NCB) for Infectious Diseases has introduced new quarantine measures. The NCB decided to shorten the working hours of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Working hours are reduced by two hours, and the curfew period is extended by the same amount of time.

Shops will operate from 7:00 to 18:00. The curfew will now be from 19:00 to 5:00 the next day. The measures will apply from November 25 to December 8. In addition, the validity of all previous measures.

The National Coordinating Body for Infectious Diseases calls on citizens to fully comply with all measures, because this is the only way to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

“Considering the current situation, our healthcare system, thanks to good planning, timely action, experience, and the sacrifices of healthcare workers, is still able to withstand the pandemic, despite the worrying level of infection,” the NCB said in a statement.

Over the past 24 hours, 1,953 tests were conducted in Montenegro. Of these, 570 were new coronavirus cases. In addition, 596 people recovered and 6 died. The total number of infected people in the country is 11,111.
