Tourism revenues in the second quarter amounted to 9,814,000 euros, whereas in the same period last year they amounted to 207,670,000 euros. The data are provided according to calculations by the consulting company Fideliti Consulting.
“Revenue from tourist services fell by 197,856,000 euros, which is 95 percent less than last year. In the third key quarter of last year, revenue from tourist services amounted to 761,201,000 euros. As in the third quarter of this year, we are still seeing a drop in the number of tourists of more than 90 percent. We expect an additional decline in revenue from tourist services only in the third quarter of about 700,000,000 euros,” said Fideliti Consulting.
Total tourism revenue last year amounted to 1.1 billion.
