Belgrade-based company BIG CEE, a subsidiary of the Israeli company BIG Shopping Centers, has completed the acquisition of the Capital Plaza complex in Podgorica for an undisclosed amount, reports Investor.me.
“The deal represents one of the largest investments in the Podgorica market. Thus, we have confirmed our leading position as consultants in the field of exit strategy from commercial real estate,” company representatives say.
The multifunctional complex in the very heart of Podgorica’s business district allows BIG CEE to expand its portfolio in Montenegro after the company completed the acquisition of Delta City Mall last year.
Capital Plaza includes office space located in two towers, luxury apartments that can be rented for residential and commercial purposes, as well as a 122-room hotel and retail space.
BIG shopping centers, headquartered in Herzliya and founded in 1994, operate in Israel, the USA, France, Serbia, and Montenegro.
