At present, 38 coronavirus infections have been registered, the Institute of Public Health said. Due to the new cases, mandatory wearing of protective masks has been reintroduced in the country. Masks must be worn on public transport, in shops, at markets and other enclosed public venues. According to the authorities, residents of the country brought the infection from Belgrade after attending a major football match there. At the same time, the fans returned via Bosnia and Herzegovina, as the border with Serbia is closed due to the pandemic. Bosnia and Herzegovina have now been removed from the list of countries for which Montenegro’s borders are open. Now, when entering from this country, a coronavirus test taken no more than 48 hours earlier is required. In the last 24 hours, 119 COVID-19 tests were performed.
