The Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air, one of the best-known low-cost airlines in the world, is returning to Montenegro after a long break. The airline will connect Montenegro with seven European destinations already from the end of May. Most routes will be active until the end of October via the airports of Podgorica and Tivat.

From June 6, Wizz Air will reopen the popular Milan-Tivat-Milan route, with flights operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays. From June 14 – on the Milan-Podgorica-Milan route on Mondays and Fridays.

The company also announced flights to Montenegro’s airports from Budapest from June 14 to October 29 (on Mondays and Fridays). A day later – on June 15 – the Vienna-Tivat-Vienna route will open, operating until October 30. In addition, planes will fly from Podgorica to Vienna, starting June 5 on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The Dortmund – Podgorica – Dortmund route will launch on May 31. From Tivat to this destination, planes will fly from June 14 twice a week until October 29.

In addition, Montenegro is connected by low-cost carriers with Poland on the Katowice and Warsaw routes from June 26 to September 9, three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, also from both airports.

Norway is opening direct flights from Oslo to Tivat already in the summer of 2021, said the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Montenegro, Jørn Eugen Gjelstad.
