The Tivat company "Velja voda lux" has asked the chief architect of Budva to approve the concept for a five-star condo hotel they plan to build in one of the most attractive locations in the very heart of Budva.
This is a plot of land of about 3,000 square meters located between the TQ Plaza complex and the Budva Hotel.
Based on the potential of the urban plot in this location, a tourist facility was designed — a five-star condominium that will have 39 residential units with all the necessary amenities, including an underground garage, restaurant, swimming pool, spa complex, etc.
"The project provides for the construction of a tourist facility that will have a basement, ground floor, six floors and a terrace," the project's conceptual design states.
It has been learned that the city administration has begun negotiations with the investor. One of the compensation options is to provide the Tivat company with commercial and residential premises in part of the TQ Plaza building.
For this to happen, the parliamentary assembly must give the green light to expropriation. However, the ruling coalition in Budva is divided.
The Tivat company has been trying to implement the project for years, but the previous municipal government refused, because access to the future facility passes through municipal land.
It is still unknown whether the new city administration will make a positive decision on the construction of the hotel, but the idea of creating an attractive condominium with six entrances is already on the city architect's desk.
