Montenegrin Prime Minister Duško Marković visited the construction site of the future Žarski ski center — one of the ski resorts in the Bjelasica complex.
“I have visited all the current construction sites in this region. And I can say that work in Mojkovac is in full swing. That the unprecedented global health and economic crisis did not stop investment in Mojkovac and did not stop its development. I want to tell the people of the region that we are currently spending 60 million euros on infrastructure development. The most important project, of course, is the Žarski ski resort, which will welcome tourists from all over the world,” Marković said.
According to the plan, the Žarski ski center will be able to receive and serve 8,000 tourists. Fourteen hotels will be built nearby. A six-seater cable car is planned for the Žarski ski center, for which a contract worth almost 9 million euros has already been signed. So far, more than 6 million euros have already been invested in the project, of which 2 million was allocated this year.
