The Galeb Hotel — a symbol of the city of Ulcinj, a place of the most beautiful memories for many generations of citizens, will finally begin to be built, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said.
“The privatization since 2006 was unsuccessfully completed, the investments were not realized, and the most difficult moment, which will be remembered forever, is its demolition in 2008 (despite the agreed obligation). Today, 16 years later, the Government confirmed the Agreement under which Galeb changed ownership and opened the door to a new investor for the final implementation of the project. Thus, the conditions have finally been met for Ulcinj to get a 5-star hotel in the most prestigious location in the city center, which will operate under the management of some of the world’s most famous hotel brands,” Abazović said in his speech.
He believes that this is only the first in a series of major investments that will be launched in Ulcinj.
“We are creating new values, creating new jobs, and positioning our country as a prestigious tourist destination,” Abazović said.
