As reported by the leading British agency for forecasting tourism trends Globetrender, a Janu wellness hotel, a brand of the Aman Resorts group, will open in Montenegro next year.

The National Tourism Organization (NTO) announced, citing the article, that Aman intends to introduce its subsidiary hotel brand Janu. Three new Janu properties, based on “social well-being,” will be followed by “a strong chain of hotels of the future,” as Aman plans to open eight more properties over the first decade.

Janu Montenegro will be the first hotel to implement the brand’s serviced residences concept, allowing guests to live in the Janu style on a long-term basis.

“Janu is based on the belief that true luxury means not having to choose between personal fulfillment and pleasure. With this in mind, Janu hotels are focused on stimulating the mind, body, and soul,” the NTO statement said.

Each hotel will feature extensive wellness services with a state-of-the-art gym and spa treatments, as well as energetic group fitness classes.

According to The Telegraph, Janu hotels will also be larger — up to 150 rooms (for comparison, Aman’s largest hotel in Tokyo has 84 rooms). And with smaller bedrooms, which will make Janu’s prices more affordable.

Recall that the Janu hotel was included in the list of approved properties under the Montenegro Citizenship by Investment program. We previously wrote about how to obtain residence permit and Montenegrin citizenship.
