Hotels in Montenegro received only 10% of last year’s revenue. This is reported by data from a survey conducted by the Employers’ Union of Montenegro. At the same time, more than 90% of companies noted a decline in revenue. Also, for about 60% of companies, revenue fell by 40-60%.
It is reported that since the beginning of the year, around 7,000 people have lost their permanent jobs. In addition, half of all companies in the country have had their accounts blocked. Experts believe that if the situation with coronavirus does not improve, there may be talk of mass company closures.
