The Institute of Public Health and the Ministry of Health of Montenegro presented a package of new measures on September 10 to curb the spread of the coronavirus epidemic in the country.

The restrictions also affected nightclubs, discos, and shopping centers. Entry there is possible only with a COVID certificate that meets the following conditions: proof of vaccination (at least 14 days must have passed after the second dose of the vaccine), a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours, a positive PCR test older than 14 but not older than 180 days, or a rapid test no older than 48 hours.

Being inside catering establishments is also possible only with a COVID certificate.

The authorities noted that for now they are emphasizing the importance of vaccination and are not introducing such strict measures as lockdown and curfew.
