Average salary before taxes and contributions in Montenegro amounted to 533 euros in September. By sector, the highest salaries were earned by employees in the financial sector — 976 euros and the energy sector — 933 euros, while the lowest salaries were earned by employees in the administrative sector and services — 368 euros and manufacturing — 379 euros.

This means that the difference between the highest and lowest salary was 608 euros. As for municipalities, the highest average salary in September was in Tivat — 617 euros, and the lowest was in Bijelo Polje - 439 euros, according to the latest data from the Statistical Office MONSTAT.
