The traditional competition for the title of the laziest person in Montenegro starts February 5.
This is an annual competition in which the winner is the one who lies down the longest without getting up. In previous years, participants had to lie on mattresses. The record is 48 hours.
However, due to the epidemic the rules have changed slightly. Now the participant stays alone in a hut. He is not allowed to go anywhere, there is no phone or TV, alcohol and tobacco are prohibited. Only books and creative activities, such as drawing, are allowed. Food and accommodation are provided for 7 days. The first-place prize is 300 euros.
Those participants who last less than three days pay for full accommodation and meals in the amount of 105 euros.
