The amount of investment in Montenegrin real estate fell by 6.6% compared to 2018, according to the country’s Central Bank.
Local companies and banks received 242.3 million euros in investments. As a result, 412.3 million euros were invested in the share capital of Montenegrin enterprises and organizations (53.6% of the total amount).
Last year, 321.7 million euros went into intercompany debt investments (41.8%).
The total inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) into Montenegro’s economy amounted to 769.9 million euros, while capital outflows reached 425.2 million euros. As a result, net FDI inflow reached 344.7 million euros, which is 6.9% more than in 2018.Source.
