Andrijevica, Budva, Gusinje, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Petnica, Plužine, Šavnik, Tivat and Tuzi are Montenegrin municipalities in which no divorces were registered by the end of November 2020.
The latest data from the statistical office show that 498 marriages were dissolved in the first 11 months of 2020, with the highest number in Podgorica — 222.
Comparative statistics show that 2020 could become the year with the lowest number of divorces in recent times, given that 577 marriages were dissolved in 2015, 703 in 2016, 765 in 2017, 849 in 2018, and 841 in 2019.
In 2020, the monthly breakdown shows that the fewest divorces were in April, with 18, and 21 in May, while the highest number of marriages were dissolved in February — 68.
