The Institute of Marine Biology conducted the third water quality inspection of the season. Samples were taken on July 1 and 2 in 110 recreational areas. They rated 90% of the beaches as excellent. On the Bar Riviera, all 15 beaches received top marks. On the Ulcinj Riviera, only the recreational area "Borova Šuma" was rated satisfactory. The water at the other 17 beaches is of high quality. On the Budva Riviera, 28 recreational areas received top marks. The beaches "Kamenovo," "Bečići 05" (near the Stefan and Papillon restaurants), "Bečići 03" (near the Church of Saint Apostle Thomas), and "Slovenska Beach 05" (opposite the former Mogren stadium) were awarded a four. On the Tivat Riviera, all recreational areas were rated excellent. In the municipality of Kotor, 11 beaches received top marks. The recreational areas "Benovo," "Sveti-Stasije," and "Orahovac" received fours. The beach "Prčanj" was rated satisfactory. On the Herceg Novi Riviera, 19 recreational areas passed the test with excellent marks. Threes were assigned to the beach in the village of Bijela and the "Novosadski" beach (Novosadsko kupaliste) in Herceg Novi. Source.
