In Montenegro, as of May 26, 170,658 vaccine doses had been used, meaning 125,509 people had received the first dose and 45,149 the second. Montenegro’s Ministry of Health said that during May 25, 10,581 people were vaccinated, 1,664 with the first dose and 8,917 with the second.
This means that in Montenegro more than a quarter of adults have received the first dose, and that almost 10 percent of them have been fully vaccinated, the Ministry of Health notes.
In Montenegro, vaccination is voluntary and uses the Sinopharm and AstraZeneka vaccines. At the start of the vaccination campaign, medical workers received the Spitnik V vaccine, and special categories of patients receive the Pfizer vaccine.
