A hotel for 5,000 people will be built in the south of the country — on Mavrijan Hill near Valdanos Bay. It is 65 km to the airport in Podgorica.
The planned development area is 500,000 sq. m. Four hotels with 2,900 beds will be located here, as well as 105 bungalows, each 350 sq. m. This was announced by the Mayor of Ulcinj, Ljoro Nrekic, at the project presentation.
The Mavrijan Luxury Resorts and Villas complex will include a wide promenade, restaurants, outdoor pools, sports grounds, a casino, a helipad, a marina with 147 berths, and other infrastructure. The architectural bureau is Ing-invest from Podgorica.
Investors from Egypt and Qatar have shown interest in the project.
