The International Kotor Summer Carnival will take place from August 1 to 3 in the Square of Arms in the Old Town. The official opening will take place on August 1 at 21:00. Carnival groups from Italy, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Ukraine, and Cuba will perform in Kotor.
August 1 (Thursday) at 22:00, the Croatian klapa Tri Gust will take the stage on the central square in the Old Town. In addition, a fishermen's feast will take place at 22:30 on the Muo waterfront. August 2 (Friday) at 21:00 — performances by carnival groups. At 22:00, the Croatian band Magazin, known for its song Ginem, will give a concert on the square in the Old Town. By the way, its cover version of “Znam” was once performed by Abraham Russo. August 3 (Saturday) the climax of the celebration is expected — at 21:00 the main procession will begin on the main highway. It will conclude with “Carnival Night” in the Old Town. The organizers of the celebration are the Fešta association, the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro, the National and local tourist organizations, and the Municipality of Kotor.
