The average salary in January 2021 in Montenegro amounted to 791 euros (gross), while the average salary after taxes and contributions (net) amounted to 530 euros, the statistical office Monstat announced.
The average (net) salary in January 2021 increased by 0.6 percent compared to December 2020, and the average (net) salary in January 2021 increased by 1.1 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
Statisticians point out that, taking into account that consumer prices in January 2021 increased by 0.3 percent compared to December of the previous year, it follows that real wages over the same period increased by 0.3 percent.
