In 7 months, Russians invested 22.7 million euros in Montenegro real estate

From January through the end of July, Russians invested a total of 41 million euros in the country’s economy. They took 2nd place by the amount of investments, according to the local Central Bank. Citizens of Hungary are in the lead. Over 7 months, they invested 51.73 million euros in Montenegro’s economy. Of this amount, 2.9 million euros went into real estate. In third place are residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina (31.2 million euros). Their spending on real estate is low - 1.3 million euros. Also on the list of foreign investors are citizens of the Netherlands (26.9 million euros), Switzerland (21.7 million euros), the UAE (20.4 million euros), Serbia (18.7 million euros), Turkey (15.7 million euros), Germany (14.1 million euros), and Croatia (10.6 million euros). Over 7 months since the beginning of the year, 94.3 million euros were invested in real estate in Montenegro. Net inflow of direct foreign investment into the country’s economy reached 241.5 million euros, which is 23% more compared to the same period last year.
