Director of the Institute of Public Health, Igor Galić, said at today's press conference, that from tomorrow until August 2, the operation of discotheques, nightclubs outdoors and in enclosed spaces is temporarily prohibited. If the epidemiological situation is more favorable, according to him, the mentioned venues will begin operating for those who have been fully vaccinated or have received the first dose. Also for those who have a negative PCR test or proof that they have recovered from coronavirus (less than 180 days have passed since the positive PCR test). Mass gatherings in enclosed spaces are prohibited.
At the press conference, Galić stated that the epidemiological situation in Montenegro remains favorable, as also stated by the World Health Organization.
The Director of the Institute of Public Health reminds that live music performances in hospitality venues were previously prohibited and requires consistent observance of this measure.
“Live music may be performed on terraces and in open-air bars until midnight, provided that all other epidemiological measures are strictly observed. However, if the tendency to violate this deadline continues and if live music continues to be played in hospitality venues, we will move from punishment to a ban on the performance and broadcasting of music in general,” Galić warns.
He once again asks that the prescribed epidemiological measures be uncompromisingly observed in order to avoid further, even more extensive restrictions.
