Zelensky Invited the Prime Minister of Montenegro to Kyiv

In a conversation with the President of Ukraine, Abazović noted that Montenegro condemned the Russian Federation’s operation in Ukraine and from the very beginning openly supported Ukraine’s independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty, emphasizing that today the European values of freedom and choice of the European Union and that Montenegro fully supports the EU’s position regarding the Russian operation in Ukraine.

“We hope that Ukraine will receive the status of candidate for EU membership, and Montenegro, as the leader of the negotiation process, is ready to provide the necessary expert and political assistance,” Abazović said.

As reported, the prime minister informed Zelensky about the number of Ukrainian refugees received by Montenegro and said that it is about 2% of the population.
