Description

An ancient, unique, historic palace on the first line by the sea in the village of Dobrota is offered for sale. The palace was built at the end of the 18th century and is considered one of the most famous palaces in Montenegro. The palace belonged to the Tripkovic family in the 18th century. It is located slightly away from the shore and elevated on a rise. The family coat of arms of the Tripkovic family is built into the defensive wall of the palace. In front of the palace there is a private small pier with a platform, which belongs to the palace. Behind the palace there are gardens. The palace was built of Korcula stone, with a total area of 1150 m2, on a plot of 1500 m2. Four levels, 3 garages and parking for several cars. The property is registered as cultural heritage. The first floor — main entrance with an office and a small reception room, a spacious living room, a dining room with a kitchen, and a bedroom. The second floor — the master bedroom and two additional bedrooms. The third floor: a large living room with a fireplace and three bedrooms. Behind the palace, on the mountain side, there is an annex that previously housed the kitchen.

Buying costs depend on the property. Montenegro’s real-estate transfer tax is progressive — the rate depends on the value — and newly built homes are subject to VAT on the first sale.
