About Strp

Strp is a small historic mountain settlement with a population of about 150 residents, located on the mountain slopes above the northeastern part of the Bay of Kotor, with a picturesque panoramic view of the entire bay, the mountains, and the Adriatic Sea. The village preserves its authentic character with traditional stone houses, narrow mountain paths, and a rural way of life, where agriculture and livestock breeding remain the main activities.

The history of Strp dates back to medieval times, when the settlement served as a defensive position on the mountain heights, providing surveillance over ports and trade routes.
